Small galley style kitchen with stainless steel gas range, oven, microwave, mini refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker and Soda Stream. Comfy queen sized bed and bedroom is tucked away behind french doors from the living room area. Light-filled living room with plenty of windows and blind coverings for privacy. Living room has small couch, arm chair, two seat dining set, and TV with Roku. Couch also folds out as a simple, flat futon bed. Great for remote work! There is a sit/stand height adjustable desk with docking station, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and WiFi connection. Please note: This is intended to be a quiet space. We work from home and have two young children, as do our neighbors directly adjacent to and behind the apartment. While we understand you may be on vacation and want to socialize, we ask that you do so quietly and respectfully so as to not disrupt the normal daily lives of those around you. We ask that you do not use the deck space to socialize after 10PM. We live on a cul-de-sac and outside sounds are amplified based on the placement of our house. Guest access You enter through the side gate private entrance. There’s no private parking but there is plenty of free street parking. Owners live in main house, including 2 adults, 2 small children, and a sweet pit bull. There is one shared wall, and the outdoor space is separated by a trellis/gate. We are generally up around 7AM. We do our best to minimize any noise, but you may hear plumbing sounds, footsteps, the dog/kids and other normal household activities. If you are a late or light sleeper, our home may not be the best fit for you. The space is generally peaceful and we've provided a white noise machine if you need it! There is central heat with one thermostat on the owner’s side of the house. You can contact us if it’s too hot/cold and we can adjust the thermostat accordingly. It is set at 68 degrees 6AM-12AM and 62 degrees 12AM-6AM. There is no air conditioner, but there are fans provided for the unit. For stays under 30 days: No laundry access, but we're happy to launder the included apartment linens for you during your stay as needed. For stays over 30 days: Shared laundry access (located in owners garage) can be arranged up to two days a week between 9AM-10PM. Guest laundry cannot be left overnight in laundry machines. Access requires downloading an app to open/close the garage as well as providing an email. Physical remote is not available. Other things to note - Landscaping bi-weekly (gardeners access the outdoor space two Thursdays a month) - Packages are delivered behind guest gate entrance, so owners may access when needed to retrieve them. - Hot tub does require chemicals weekly and cleaning monthly. Owner/guests will coordinate who will execute the maintenance as applicable and depending on length of stay. Instruction sheet and chemicals provided by owner if guest chooses to maintain the tub. - Ventilation: The hot tub and shower create humidity, so we ask that you keep the shower door closed when using that area, and keep the studio well ventilated by running the shower fan while using it, opening windows when it's comfortable, and using the provided dehumidifier in the unit as needed.

Enjoy your stay in a beautiful, private, brand new contemporary home. This 850 s.f. 1 bed, 1.5 bath 2 story home was built as my private home and long term residence. Take advantage of my current nomadic lifestyle to experience this first class luxury home with its private roof deck. All the advantages of being in an urban walkable neighborhood but with the beauty of suburban/rural nature. The space This home was built in 2021. Enjoy hard laminate and tile flooring throughout the house, beautiful large energy efficient double hung wood windows and modern trim-less construction. The numerous stained wood accents combine with an abundance of natural light give the home a very modern, yet natural feel. The rooms are equipped multipurpose blinds which have both blackout (for sleeping) and light passthrough (for privacy) options. Built to be both smart and eco-friendly, the house has been built with wall and ceiling insulation, low E argon glass windows, smart switches (controllable via voice or app), recessed warm colored led lights, and high efficiency heat pump central air, water heater, and dryers. This home was built to be carbon negative, as the onsite solar produces more energy than is consumed year round. Downstairs layout combines kichen, master bedroom w/ 4k tv and surround sound, and a ensuite large, spacious bathroom. Natural lighting abound in the bathroom, which also has a walk in closet (with over half the closet emptied out for guest use), large walk in, steam capture shower, and a separate toilet room. Please note that the master bedroom has an *extra firm* mattress. If you do not like firm beds, and prefer not to sleep upstairs on the Ikea sleeper, than you may not like this listing. The home has a 1 Gbps fiber internet connection with whole house Wifi 6 coverage. This combines perfectly with the deluxe work from home setup upstairs which has a dual monitor, video conferencing, standing deck setup. The digital nomads ultimate airbnb. I addition to the office setup, the upstairs has a reading nook with super "moonpod," 8k TV home entertainment system (with Dolby Atmos surround sound), and most importantly of all a beautiful private roof deck with furniture and hammock. There are multiple streaming services already logged in (please use guest profiles), making for the ultimate movie experience. The Ikea couch has a pull out sleeper, converting this space into a second sleeping area with a queen bed. Guest access As mentioned above, this is my home, so there are several locks cabinets/closets, as well as my personal effects stored in places (such as under the bed and the left half of the closet). Please respect my belongings and do not utilize these spaces. The majority of the walk in closet has been emptied out for your use, as well as the entire right side of drawers in the chest of drawer area. All other storage closets and storage areas are reserved for my personal use. Please do not use my personal toiletries (bar soap, face wash, etc) in the bathroom. Feel free to use the fridge and kitchen to your liking, but please do not eat my food or drink my alcohol. Make sure to throw away any food you bring, especially disposing of meat as I am vegetarian. The upper roof deck is completely private and reserved for your use, however the backyard downstairs is shared spaced between the two houses. When using the upper deck, please be mindful of the time at night and avoid any disruption to neighbors. Other things to note - There are several cats living on the property. They primarily live in the other house when I am out of town, but one cat in particular (Saria w/ the short tail), hangs out upstairs during the day. All cats are very friendly, with the exception of the Bengal Bella who is very sweet but very shy, but this is their home (and they have a cat door) so please, animal lovers only. Saria especially loves attention and to be played with. If you are allergic to cats, this is not a good fit. You can see Saria in several of the pictures, and should expect her to be around. - When opening the gate to the house, please be mindful of closing it softly, as it is beside someone else's bedroom, particularly at night. - This listing is for private use only, and is not to be used to host other guests not included in the reservation or public events. Any parties will result in eviction from the property with no refund. - Please use the guest profiles on the TV streaming services - The upstairs floor does not have blinds on the skylights, which should be taken into consideration if planning on using this as a sleeping area.

Enjoy a stylish experience close to the bay bridge with a designated work and workout area! The space This two-bedroom townhouse is right by the bay bridge! The kitchen is full of new appliances. Both bedrooms have separate bathrooms. The primary bedroom had a peloton, and a tv mounted to the wall for cozy nights in. The secondary bedroom has a bunk bed and a designated workspace with a second monitor. Both bedrooms get plenty of natural light! Our favorite part of the house is the kitchen! It is a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and stainless steel cookware. As avid coffee fans, we have a pour-over coffee maker and a goose-neck kettle. I am an avid cook, so you can find a large variety of supplies you might need! We have a large 75-inch TV in the living room and provide several different streaming services! (Netflix, Hulu, Disney, HBO, Peacock, and Prime). We have also built a gym with weights in our garage, which we will give access to. Guest access The whole house will be accessible to you. We have our garage/storage area downstairs, but that will not be accessible to guests.

The space This cozy quiet suite will be the perfect place to rest and recharge. Nestled on a ridge overlooking an epic expanse of the San Francisco Bay, you can watch the fog roll in, the sun set, or the tanker ships moving through the port of Oakland from your bedroom window, or from the terraced back yard while sitting in the shade of an apple tree. Guest access Please enjoy the outdoor spaces! The main brick patio, the backyard with fruit trees, the side yard with herb garden. Help yourself to fruit & herbs when they are plentiful. The laundry room/office/kitchenette (all one space) will be mostly yours during your stay. We will plan our laundry around guest stays whenever possible, though for longer guest stays we will have to come up with a system ;) Note: guests do not have access to a full kitchen. The kitchenette offers: Keurig coffee maker, microwave, induction single burner cook top, full sized fridge & freezer, sink, dishes & silverware, washer & dryer, and adjustable stand/sit table for work, eating or food prep.

The Suite on Camden Street is the perfect work remote or getaway in Oakland. This inlaw unit is private with its own access on the side of the house. Access is a sloped walkway through a locked gate and less than five stairs to the door. This cozy spot features: a full kitchen, queen bed, fast wifi, work desk with a monitor, rain shower, and access to backyard space. Best for couples or individuals. Pet friendly, no pet fee, but please pick up after your furry friends. Free street parking. The space The Suite is a studio-sized ADU on the bottom floor of the house. Private access and street parking. Guest access The Suite has a separate entrance on the right side of the house. Both the separate gate entrance and door are accessible by keypad, which will be provided to you by message from Sam (he/him) and Jess (she/her). Walkway down to gate is sloped, and there are less than 5 stairs to the Suite door. Other things to note We have an indoor cat who lives upstairs exclusively.

Our Birdhouse residence is located at the back of a long lot. Enjoy an off street parking spot, walk thru our courtyard shared space, and head on up the stairs to a quiet 2 bedroom private house. There is a back stairwell that opens up to a private backyard space. Nothing fancy but help yourself to any lemons or grab a seat and relax. Not mentioned in the listing is a back office near the restroom that we use for storage but it does have a desk and monitor that you are welcome to use. The space The best thing about this area is how walkable it is along with amazing food just around the corner on College Ave. If you are feeling adventurous you can even walk to Bart. The best thing about this house is where it is situated on the lot. It is very quiet (for living in a city) and private. To keep the place a little cooler on hot days keep the curtains closed in the front living room. Guest access I’m addition to your private backyard space there in a comfortable courtyard space with shaded seating and a hammock that you are welcome to enjoy. Other things to note Really important to note that the Birdhouse requires the ability to walk up and down some steep stairs. This is also an older house with smaller rooms. If you need a lot of space it may be more challenging. Please look at the pictures and make sure you are comfortable with this. You may see a dog hanging around. He is very friendly but if you are afraid of dogs this may not be the right spot for you. We also spend a lot of time with our very friendly neighbor cat. He will likely try and say hello. Before booking please confirm first what pet you are traveling with.
