Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. You’ll have a private entrance, quiet bedroom with en suite bathroom with Nebia rain shower.
Enjoy spectacular sunsets over Mt Tamalpais and the SF bay from your bedroom window.
Attached to the bedroom is a shared space* also with bay views, that serves as a dedicated work station just for you. Adjustable stand/sit desk and external monitor.
*It’s shared in that the washer & dryer we also use is in that room, but this happens 1x/wk at most!
The space
This cozy quiet suite will be the perfect place to rest and recharge. Nestled on a ridge overlooking an epic expanse of the San Francisco Bay, you can watch the fog roll in, the sun set, or the tanker ships moving through the port of Oakland from your bedroom window, or from the terraced back yard while sitting in the shade of an apple tree.
Guest access
Please enjoy the outdoor spaces! The main brick patio, the backyard with fruit trees, the side yard with herb garden. Help yourself to fruit & herbs when they are plentiful.
The laundry room/office/kitchenette (all one space) will be mostly yours during your stay. We will plan our laundry around guest stays whenever possible, though for longer guest stays we will have to come up with a system ;)
Note: guests do not have access to a full kitchen. The kitchenette offers: Keurig coffee maker, microwave, induction single burner cook top, full sized fridge & freezer, sink, dishes & silverware, washer & dryer, and adjustable stand/sit table for work, eating or food prep.
