In addition, you’ll have your own private driveway for parking next to the front door—helpful for bringing in luggage, and groceries, or arriving home at night! The property next door shares parking, and is a 1 bedroom Airbnb with a yard and fireplace, available for booking in combination with this Other things to note -You are my guest, you do not have a "chore" list upon checkout like some other properties may request. Upon checkout my only request is for you to turn things off and lock the door :) -We welcome guests staying for a remote work setup! There is a provided computer monitor, keyboard, and mouse at a dedicated desk. Wifi is fast enough for video calls: 300MB download and 10MB upload. -The property is located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood, so please be respectful of neighbors and the environment. Be aware that there are no city lights throughout the neighborhood—but it gives stunning nighttime views of the stars! -The property is tucked down a long driveway. While the property has neighbors on all sides, you'll have plenty of privacy to enjoy yourself. -While the neighborhood is quiet, it's noteworthy that all of Kingston has a periodic train sound that hums in the background. One neighbor has chickens and a rooster, so if you're sensitive to sound I encourage you to close the windows and use the air conditioning. The huge screened in porch is right off of a spacious living room that features a vaulted ceiling and a 55" mounted TV. Kitchen is fully stocked & the dining room seats 6, comfortably. Walk to UPAC / Stockade District, Keegan Ales. <10 min drive to the Rondout district, Hutton Brickyards. 10min to Ashokan Rail Trail, Onteora Lake. 20min drive to Saugerties, Woodstock, Rosendale. The space Make yourself at home! The house is fully furnished with brand new furniture, and a chef's kitchen with stainless steel appliances. We provide high quality bedding and bathroom linens. Our entertainment options include Roku TV and LOTS of games for all ages. Whether you are visiting Kingston for work, special occasions, or just for fun, the home has everything you need for your stay. Each bedroom has a queen sized memory foam mattress, cotton sheets, closets for storage, and luggage racks. We also provide a Pack n' Play in the primary bedroom closet for guests with small children. There are three bathrooms in the home, a small half bath on the first floor and two full bathrooms upstairs. The upstairs guest bathroom has a tub and shower set up, and the primary bathroom has a walk in shower. We provide guests with bath towels, makeup-towels, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, hair dryers, and other essential toiletries. The kitchen is brand new featuring lots of countertop space for meal prep. We provide olive oil, coffee (Keurig pods and ground coffee), sugar, and basic condiments. Enjoy a casual meal at the countertop or dine together at the table! Use the placemats and napkins provided to set the table, and light up complimentary candles for ambience. There's a desk on the first floor for those looking to work from home, with a large monitor for guests to use. Just plug into your laptop. There's also a mousepad in the desk, with writing utensils and paper. If you're looking for a separate workspace, we have partnered with CoWork Kingston to offer guests access to a dedicated coworking space that is a 10min walk or 3min drive away - ask host for details. The living space has a variety of seating, comfy throw blankets, and entertainment options. Log into your favorite streaming apps on the Roku television. We provide a number of classic games like Uno and Jenga. Kingston is a vibrant city with lots to do and see. We provide dog bowls, a pet bed, and waste bags. Keep pets off furniture as best you can, and use designated towels and couch cover. The king bedroom has stunning floor-to-ceiling windows and a walk-in closet, while the two queen beds have their own balcony. If you need the extra space, we have a luxurious cloud couch that pulls out in the living area. There is also a baby crib available, which can be set up upon request. -Kitchen- The kitchen is fully outfitted for all of your cooking needs – with a Nespresso coffee maker (pods included), cooking basics (oil, spice rack, salt/pepper), top-grade cookware, appliances like a toaster and a blender, and dishwasher. -Workstations- The property has super fast WiFi (typically 300+ mbps) and four amazing state-of-the-art workstations, one of which is a full office. Each are complete with a 38” monitor, 4K camera, high-quality microphone and ergonomic desk chair. WiFi also extends outside if you want to work outdoors! -Fitness Center- The private fitness center is fully available for use with a Peloton, treadmill, Ergatta rower, weight rack, and an infrared sauna. There are also dozens of great hiking/biking trails nearby. -Living Space- There are two living areas with couches, Sonos speakers and smart TVs so you can stream your favorite shows or movies. The upper level has a wood-burning stove, while the lower level has a comfortable cloud couch that converts into a pull-out bed. We also have a record player if you want to bring some of your favorite vinyls with you! -Outdoors- The outdoor area is expansive and magical. The pool is fenced in and heated with lounge chairs and umbrellas – it is generally open from May through September, but dates may fluctuate based on weather. We have several deck areas, which include an outdoor dining table with grill, a hot tub, and various seating areas. -Bathrooms- The home has three full bathrooms and a half bath. We provide luxury bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion), premium towels and robes, and even a Dyson hair dryer so you don’t have to pack your own! The primary bathroom is gorgeous with emerald green ceramic tiling, dual sinks and even dual showerheads. -24/7 Concierge- We are available for our guests 24/7 via our Concierge leading up to and throughout your stay to answer your questions, provide recommendations, arrange grocery deliveries or mid-stay cleans and more. -Pet-friendly- We love your furry friends (almost as much as you do) – but they must be disclosed in advance. Pets cannot be left unattended and their safety is your responsibility. Please see the “Things to Note” section for our full pet policy. Other things to note We want you to feel at home and have a restful, stress-free stay. There is no to-do list when you check-out. Just take your things and go! Cell reception in the Hudson Valley region can be limited. Be sure to download/save the address, WiFi and entrance details that we provide in advance. Once you connect to the WiFi, it stretches across the property. We welcome your children but you are solely responsible for their safety, especially with the pool. If you have a special request for your child (crib, high-chair, car seat, kid-friendly flatware) let us know. We welcome pets, but you must notify us in advance and there is an additional $100 per pet fee that goes directly to the cleaner for their added work. We also reserve the right to charge you for any damages caused by your pet. By booking, you agree you are responsible for their safety and to keep your pets off the furniture and pick up their waste on and around the property. The fee is optional for service animals. We are constantly making improvements to the smart home controls. You do not have to stress about getting locked out or being unable to turn on the lights should they malfunction, as there is an easy, manual work around for all. No smoking or vaping inside. Open flames including candles are also prohibited. Exceptions are birthday candles or fire in a designated fire pit or fireplace.
