The space
This property is part of the Home Collection-Charlotte's Boutique Furnished Residences. We own over 30 different residences all within 2 miles from downtown Charlotte!
One of Myers Park's very few intact mid-century modern buildings, our newest addition to The Home Collection - Charlotte, has been transported from 50's fabulousness with formerly pastel pink, blue and yellow appliances to today's most modern kitchen and luxurious bath. Newly renovated mid-century apartment on prestigious Queens Road in the heart of Myers Park, this 1br/1ba sleeps 2, with an ultra comfortable king bed.
We've maintained the character of the mid-century apartment building, while completely updating and renovating the interior of this second floor residence. Stainless appliances with granite countertops, new heating and cooling systems and plumbing provide modern amenities to the updated building. Now, bring your laptop and connect to a monitor and keyboard on a dedicated workstation!
The open kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, etc., a new electric range with convection oven, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, disposal, and a full-size stackable washer and dryer. The dining area comfortably seats four. The kitchen is stocked with everything one would need for a short or longterm stay - down to the garlic press!
The apartment is located on the second floor with a skylight providing an abundance of natural light. Off-street parking in a private lot for 1 car is also provided. Should you need extra parking for another car - there is street parking available along the side of the building.
In the living room, a comfortable sectional sofa grants the perfect space for guests to lounge and unwind. A large flatscreen television offers entertainment options including cable tv. The residence is also equipped with a desk and wifi enabled for our business travelers; we also offer access to a nearby business center for our guests.
400-thread-count linens and thick Egyptian cotton towels offer all of the comforts of home, and the bedroom has a generous closet and a television. The master bedroom has a king sized bed.
Wide sidewalks and towering oaks throughout the neighborhood provide an ideal place for walking or jogging, and a coffee shop, multiple restaurants (including Ethiopian, Thai, casual and fine Italian, etc.), shopping and even an independent movie theater are a half mile away. Spring through fall, a farmers market is open Tues, Fri and Sat around the corner from the apartment, and a greenway offers a convenient connection to Freedom Park, Dilworth and Carolinas Medical Center.
Ideal for short- or long-term stays for business or pleasure, or when visiting someone at either CMC or Presbyterian Hospitals, our goal is for you to feel at home during your stay.
We'll try hard to accommodate almost any special request and we live less than 2 miles away, so are readily available should something come up. We look forward to hosting you. If this apartment is not available for your preferred time period, please ask as we have others available in similarly great locations.
