The space
Located above the bustling streets of the historic town centre, our home benefits from easy access to the vibrant old town along with its restaurants, bars and stunning beaches. Oldtown Nomad Nest will provide you with a space to relax in-between adventures. We look forward to welcoming you!
ACCESS
The apartment is located on the second floor of a typically Portuguese condominium building; therefore, no elevator is available and access to the second floor is only via two flights of stairs.
KITCHEN
On entering the apartment, you will find a modern, galley style kitchen which is fully equipped with everything you will need to prepare a tasty meal.
LIVING/DINING SPACE
To the right of the kitchen is a comfortable living/dining space. This relaxed room incorporates a comfortable sofa, a smart TV and a dining area seating up to 4.
BALCONY
The living/dining room benefits from access to a small balcony which has been fitted with a balcony bar along with bar stools. This is the perfect place to sip on your morning coffee or sunset wine and watch the world go by below.
BEDROOM 1
The first bedroom is located at the front of the property with its window facing towards the street. Due to this, noise cancelling ear plugs are provided. With these and our super comfortable double bed, you will be sure to have a cosy night's sleep.
BEDROOM 2
The second bedroom is located at the back of the property. This is the more peaceful bedroom of the two, however ear plugs are still provided for those light sleepers. The bed in this room is a small double bed. This room also benefits from a height adjustable, standing desk for those wishing to work away from home. Upon request, guests can also have use of a screen, keyboard and mouse during their stay.
BATHROOM
The modern bathroom is located between the two bedrooms. With a large walk-in shower, with a recently fitted waterfall shower head, guests will be sure to feel pampered after a long day at the beach.
WINTER LONGER STAYS (28 nights or more)
For those heavily discounted longer stays from November to February (2023/24), utilities such as gas, water and internet will be included in the rate. Electricity will be charged as used and paid for through the Airbnb platform. A cleaning service is offered every second week during which bed linen/covers and towels will be refreshed.
Guest access
Guests have exclusive access to the property. A large, free of charge parking area is located only 300m away.
Other things to note
The property is deep cleaned and sanitised between each booking. For stays exceeding 7 nights, upon request, we can provide a weekly cleaning service during which towels, and linen will be refreshed.
The property is located in the town center and on a street with bars. The property is fitted with acoustic double glazing in order to remove as much noise as possible and although we also provide ear plugs this may not be the home for super sensitive sleepers.
