You can work from anywhere now, so why not upgrade your lifestyle for a bit?
This is eclectic, bohemian, rustic, 40's era, and authentic México as only Zona Rosa can provide. You can actually see the Angel of Independence from my private terrace.
Let the thrill of living in this historic neighborhood inspire you as you sit down in its dedicated office with amenities for the digital nomad or remote worker.
Enjoy having your meals prepared and delivered for you, and much more.
The space
There's a lot of rustic, authentic Mexican design in this unique penthouse built in 1945. When you're not working in the dedicated office, out exploring, or resting in your room on the comfy sheets and linens, you can relax on the extra-large terrace or the balcony, or stand and watch the people bustling on the streets
We have a true gem in our terrace and balconies, and are excited to share them with you! There are not many things I find more interesting than sitting on it with a cup of coffee or a drink and watching the culture unfold on the busy streets a few floors below.
As an entrepreneur, this was my home base for quite a while, and I have left it set up in a way to assist other traveling entrepreneurs or remote workers to be able to have everything they need to work efficiently and effectively.
There's a mesh wi-fi system installed, and business class internet, 100MBPS up AND down. I have converted one of the three bedrooms into an office, with a large desk and office chair, with ethernet port, curved monitor, webcam, and an IP phone, which you can make calls out from as either a U.S. or México number, and if you need a voicemail box or inbound calls, we can set that up for you.
There are a total of three dedicated workspaces in the penthouse, and you'll have a huge table to work from out on your private terrace overlooking Zona Rosa and the angel of independence.
Guest access
"Mi casa es su casa" My home is your home... Please feel free to enjoy all that it has to offer, I want you to enjoy your time in my penthouse!
Other things to note
I think it's really important to set expectations for my guests... I want you to have a great stay, and that starts with knowing as much as you can! Here's some of the more important points:
Stairs... we have them, and if you didn't see it earlier... my place is a penthouse... as in the fourth floor. As I prefer to host the adventurous traveler, I don't think most of you will find it a problem, but if you need an elevator, I'm unfortunately not the best place for you :(
Noise:
We're literally 2.5 blocks from the Angel and Paseo de la Reforma, and while we're minutes away from the tranquility of Chapultepec forest and castle, we're also normally in a very popular, vibrant, and energetic neighborhood... though during the pandemic it’s relatively quiet.
The Terrace:
There's nothing cooler about this place than the terrace... it calls you to hang out on it, and bathe in the energy of the city... That said, the railings are not very high, and things can fall off of them. Nobody wants a gringo crashing down on them. Plus, it wouldn't be good press for Mexico. So please enjoy, yet be cautious with the railings: don't sit on them, and place your drinks somewhere else... The people on the street below thank you.
Services: I have a full staff, and you will have access to all of my providers when in my home, housekeeper (she normally comes once a week, and also launders and irons the laundry). Let me know what level of service you'd like, and we can let you know the cost and arrange it for you...
Laundry: Our housekeeper will assist you with your laundry needs. She'll wash, line dry, and iron everything and return it for you. In most cases, you'll receive the laundry back in 24 hours, at a cost of $250 Mexican pesos.
Our pledge to social responsibility:
We are a social responsibility company, and work to end chronic homelessness and promote social equity in immigration and other areas. By staying with us you'll help support our cause in Mexico City of giving back by employing and assisting the "Dreamers" and others deported from the United States.
Check-in and Check-out times:
We accept check-ins between 3PM and 10PM, and are happy to try and arrange for and accommodate different times with advance notice--please ask before booking if you have a very early or late check-in. An additional fee of $200.00 mxn will apply for early or late check-in or check-out since our team members are required to work extra hours. I hope you understand, please let us know if we can help.
Third Bedroom/Office: As noted above, one of the bedrooms has been converted to a full working office.
