A beautiful, well-situated and modern home just a few steps from a gorgeous park and a 5-min walk from Nutgrove Shopping Centre with multiple supermarkets, shops and eateries. The house is perfect for remote working as we have a dedicated office with two desks and two large monitors. A number of buses take you to the city centre. For nature lovers, it’s only a 20-min drive from the sea, 10-min drive from Dublin mountains and 20-min drive from Wicklow, known as the Garden of Ireland. The space You are invited to stay in my modern, bright end-of-terrace house in Rathfarnham, which is blessed with a host of amenities including parks, supermarkets, shops, restaurants, and easy access to beautiful walks in the Dublin Mountains and beyond. The house has a dedicated office room with two large desks and monitors -perfect for remote working with a view of the Dublin mountains in the distance. We keep the house very tidy and clean, but it does have a lived-in feel. Most cupboards and drawers are full of our belongings, the wardrobes contain our clothes, and our food is in the fridge, but we will clear some space so you can hang and store clothes and other belongings. Other things to note Please note there is a handrail on one side of the stairs, but the other side is exposed, so some care is required on the stairs and it is not suitable for children. Check-in is after 3pm. Check-out is 11am. From the airport: A taxi takes 30 minutes (If you ask your driver to go through the city centre, it is cheaper but will take longer when there is traffic). The 16 bus goes from the airport to within a 10-min walk of our house (You will need coins or to buy a Leap card at the airport). The journey takes about 1 hr 15 mins. No smoking. No guests allowed. We have hundreds of 5-star reviews and an average guest rating of 4.97 stars. Pets are welcome (up to 2 dogs or cats, max weight of 75 lbs each, recent vet records required for dogs). Pet fee = $5/night. Please note that if the pet fee doesn't automatically show up when you book, it will be added later. This apartment is located on the 3rd/top floor. This means you'll be able to enjoy peace and quiet since there are no apartments above us. But there's no elevator, so please only book this home if you are physically able to climb a few steps. No smoking anywhere. This apartment is located within a 100% smoke-free community, which means no smoking of any kind is permitted anywhere on the community property (including parking lots, breezeways, etc.). FAQ: Q: What if I don't know how long I'll need to stay? Do I have to book the whole stay now? A: No worries! Just book your first 30 nights for starters, then send us a message. We'll place a courtesy hold as far out as you want so that you have the option to extend if needed. All we ask is that you give us 2 weeks' notice when you're ready to move out. Q: I didn't think modern apartment communities allowed subleasing/short-term rentals. Do you have permission to rent this apartment to temporary guests like me? A: Great question! You're right - most apartment communities do not allow short-term rentals or subleasing. Some hosts try to do it anyway in secret, which can end up being awkward for everyone. Thankfully, you can relax and make yourself at home with us because have an actual contract (and a great relationship) with the apartment community. :) Q: What if my plans change and I need to shorten my stay/change my dates? A: We are happy to be flexible. Just let us know what you need! The only thing we can't do is allow stays shorter than 30 nights. Once you move in, that's the minimum. After that, we are happy to shorten your stay with just 2 weeks' notice and provide a refund for unused nights beyond the 2-week mark. Q: I found a few other furnished rentals that are cheaper. Why should I spend more to book with you? A: You might find the occasional miracle out there, but most of the time, you get what you pay for. We go above and beyond to impress our guests - from our obsessive cleaning practices to the quality of our bedding to the speed of our responses when you have a question. We strive to keep our rates reasonable, but ultimately, it costs money to provide quality.
