Home (Office) Away from Home – Heart of Downtown

**The gym is currently closed because of the pandemic restrictions.** Enjoy the charm of a heritage building while staying at the best location in downtown Vancouver. This apartment will really feel like your home away from home while in town. The home office area includes a desk and chair, monitor, Bose Bluetooth speaker, optic fibre wifi, and a monitor to plug your laptop. Photos are of the current set-up. An excellent supermarket across the street, lots of restaurants and attractions nearby.
The space
This apartment is located at the Electra Building, the old BC Hydro company building from 1957. Renovated and adapted to residential in 1995 it retains the modernistic charm of the '50s. It was Vancouver’s first skyscraper, then the first commercial building to be designated heritage. This unit is on the 6th floor.
Note: This is not a shared space. You'll have the place entirely to yourself.

Other things to note
Things my guests love about this unit:
– Location. Awesome spot for exploring the city on foot.
– Free washer and dryer on the same floor.
– Home office area with a monitor and office chair
– A quiet spot in a downtown setting
– Safe building and area.
– Supermarket one block away, open to midnight.
Things some guests don't like as much:
– The building has no parking. You can park nearby for around $26 per day.
– The blinds don't cut the morning light completely.
– Although this apartment is surprisingly quiet for a downtown location, you'll hear the occasional emergency car siren.
– The door between the bathroom and the bedroom is permanently stuck. You will need to take two steps more to access the bathroom through the living area.
