This flat is located close to Grandi and in the middle of the old harbour neighbourhood. Alþingi, Tjōrnin, Harpa, Hallgrimskirja and all the best restaurants are within walking distance. We live here when we are not on holiday. Please consider that we have two birds that will not be in the flat, but if you have allergies to bird feather, please do not book this apartment.
The space
The house was built in 1920. We have a beautiful garden. The entrance is on the second floor ( the Icelandic first floor is groundfloor;-)). In the living room there is a nice desk with two monitors and a docker for work. High speed internet is included. The two bedrooms are cosy, one of them is with a single bed 120 X 200 and facing to the street, the other bedroom is with a double bed 180x200 the window is facing North with a beautiful view to the Esja. The bathroom is tiny, cosy with a shower. The kitchen is fully fitted out. Chairs and table in the garden to enjoy the midnight sun this summer in Iceland. You are welcome!

Pay parking in front of the house, but the nearby streets have free parking. Five minutes walk, at the old harbour the parking is free and easy.

Feel free to water the plants, use the books and other things you find in the flat. Kindly place everything where you found them.
