The space
The apartment is located in an older 3-unit apartment building. It was set-up for long term stays. All that the traveler needs to bring are personal items - making it ideal for anyone who has need to be in Pittsburgh for several weeks or months.
After walking up 5 steps into the building the apartment is found 33 steps at the top of a hallway that is shared by the first and second floor units.
The entry way to this unit opens to the living/work area on the left, bath straight ahead, bedroom and kitchen on the right. A small close in the entry way is used for additional linen supply as well as extra paper, soap, cleaning supplies.
The living area easily accommodates 6-8 people. Comfortable sofa and chairs to the left and center of the area afford a pleasant spot to read, watch TV or look out the window onto Frick Park across the street. A desk and printer set-up complete with monitor, mouse and keyboard, offer the a comfortable and convenient workspace. Opposite the workspace is a complete complementary bar, provided at no additional cost and will be replenished monthly with normal use.
The bath has a detachable shower as well as is well-lit and has a quiet fan. Basic first-aid supplies are provided as are tissues and soap.
The bedroom features two single beds, dresser and chest of drawers. A large walk-in closet has some cleaning supplies as well as ample room to store large suitcases or other items for long term/international stays.
The large kitchen has a double-sink, microwave, Cuisinart oven/air fryer, Cuisinart coffee maker, Kitchen Aide Mixer, Cuisinart hand mixer, small Cuisinart electric chopper, crock pot, complete set of pans, complete set of Corning Ware, electric stove, dishes and common kitchen utensils. The refrigerator has an automatic icemaker.
A coin operated washer/dryer is in the basement. Laundry detergent (unscented) is provided at no charge.

Guests have access to the common hall, basement and their apartment. Electronic locks provide convenient access without need for keys.
