The space
Spacious and private studio/guest house located minutes from the 210 freeway. The place features a modern design with high vaulted ceilings!
Kitchen is equipped with Microwave, Toaster, Hot Water Kettle, Cooktop, Pot/pans, Silverware, and Minifridge with freezer. Complimentary drinks and some welcome snacks are included per stay.
Space will comfortably fit 2, but the sofa can be folded down to act as a twin bed. A twin sized airbed is also available by request if booked with 3. Unit can technically hold 4 people, however it may get a bit crowded with 4.
All amenities are provided (Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, Soap, Coffee (K-Cup system), and tea, towels, extra pillows/blankets, hairdryer).
Laundry is provided in unit as well with free laundry detergent!!
Laptop friendly desk provided. Comes with keyboard, mouse, 24" display and HDMI cable.
If you would like a place for two people to "work from home", or if you just want extra desk space, we can replace the coffee table with a 2nd desk. Just let us know ahead of time!
Parking is free on the driveway for 1 car. If you have 2 or more cars, just let us know and we’ll make arrangements (also free).
Other amenities also provided upon request! Just ask to see if we have it! (Sanitary napkins, sewing kit, shaving cream, toothbrush/toothpaste, combs, slippers, etc.)
TV with built in Chrome Cast is available for your use to sync up to your all your streaming accounts! Live channels including cable and sports networks are available via YouTube TV, but is disabled unless requested. If you would like to have access to cable TV please let us know ahead of time!
Blazing fast wifi internet! Usually clocks in at over 100 Mbps.
Security: Security cameras are on-site located outside and pointing towards the driveway and street. All access codes for the guest house are unique to the guest and expire at the end of the stay. Sierra Madre is a very low crime city. One of the safest in Southern California. Additionally, we are the owners of the property and therefore, live in the front house. So you will not be interacting with anyone except for us.
Pets: Pets are allowed with extra fee per night. Make sure to select number of pets during booking. No more than 2 pets allowed.
Pet policy
1. Guests need to pick up after their pets.
2. Guests need to keep them on the leash in the neighborhood.
3. Guests need to report any property damage immediately, including soiled floors or damaged furniture.
4. Guests should control the barking of their dog.
5. Pet must be potty trained.
6. Owner should not leave their dog in the unit, by themselves, for more than 3 hours.
No Smoking: Smoking is not allowed on property inside the unit or on property premises. This includes smoking cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, and vapes. Violation of this rule will result in a $200 penalty.

- Room is ventilated before each stay.
- There is a 24 hour buffer window between each stay.
- High touch surfaces like, knobs, handles, switches, tables, window sills, and remote controls are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.
- Bed sheets, pillow covers and towels are washed at the highest heat setting.
Guest access
The entire unit (backhouse) is yours! Self check-in via code sent shortly before your visit. Check-in is at 1 PM. but we can be flexible. Check with us for early check in.

NO SMOKING: Seriously... we don't have many rules, so please book somewhere else if you plan to smoke. Smoking is not allowed on property inside the unit or on property premises. This includes smoking cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, and vapes. Guest who violate this rule will be asked to leave immediately, without refund and subject to a $200 penalty.
Extra Guests: If you need to edit the number of guests, please do so in the Airbnb app. Extra guests beyond the number reserved will be subject to a small extra charge.
