Nomad Validated
As the land comes to an end and meets the Pacific Ocean, our eclectic, chic home with original detailing from 1929 awaits! Enjoy easy walking access to Several Beach as well as all the trail head at Land’s End, including Sutro Baths. The house is less than a 10 minute walk from the Legion of Honor and located directly across from a public golf course and forest, which ensures plenty to do during the day and the tranquility at night (while still being steps from all that SF has to offer).

The space
3 bedroom, 2 full bathes, breakfast nook, kitchen, formal dining room (with tuned Baldwin baby grand), formal living room, office, and deck/yard access.
Master bedroom (Bedroom #1) – located on top floor, the master includes a California king size bed, Roku-connected 32 inch television, walk in closet, and the best part, a panoramic view of Ocean beach for sunrise and sunset viewing, or just staring into the horizon. One door connects to kitchen the other to the Bunk room.
Bunk room (Bedroom #2) – also located on the top floor room boasts 3 twin-sized bunk beds, with the option of a 4th twin-sized air mattress if desired. Great kids room, with plenty of toys and books to play with (our kids are 6, 8, and 10, so a good mix of things).
Kitchen – located on the top floor, has everything you need for that wine country feast you’ve promised to make, or to just microwave popcorn. And do it in style on a vintage working Wedgewood stove. Please note that the countertop burners have a pilot light and typically light as a modern stove does (sometimes the pilot goes out), but the oven does not and it’s to be match light. However, it’s very easy to do and a fireplace lighter is provided for this purpose. We’ve cooked for years on it and it’s still humming along. They don’t make them like this anymore.
Full bath with bathtub (Bathroom #1) – located on the top floor, the flooring is original 1920s tiles (uncovered during renovation) with a bathtub and lovely Victorian handle. There is no standing shower in this bathroom, just the tub, designed to be a sanctuary to unwind with a soak.
Breakfast nook – located on the top floor, directly adjacent to the kitchen, is a breakfast nook perfect for a quick bite or snack. The breakfast nook is located in between the kitchen and the formal dining room.
Formal dining room – located on the top floor, in between the breakfast nook and living room is the formal dining room, with period details, glass door enclosures, and a table that comfortable seats 6 and can be expanded to seat 10.
Formal living room – located on the top floor, with forest views from the stained, cascade windows. play the baby grand piano. As day turns tonight, curl up in front of the fire and plan your next day’s adventures.
Full bath with shower (Bathroom #1) – located on the ground floor, this bathroom includes a standing rain shower to wash troubles away and rejuvenate you for what lies ahead.
Downstairs bedroom (Bedroom #3) – located on the ground floor, this bedroom (partitioned with curtains from the desk/liquor cabinet across form it) boasts a queen-sized Pullman bed, 44 inch Roku-enabled television, and an ample sitting area. Perfect as a guest room during your S.F. stay, this room is next to the office, but is separated by a wall/doors, so that someone can be sleeping in the bedroom while someone is also working in the office (though hopefully that won’t be necessary!)
Office/work space – located downstairs and sliding doors open on the deck/yard. The desk has a USB-cable that connects to the dual monitors and the room also includes a Peloton to blast away any stress from the emails you just sent. The room also has a wine/beer fridge and towels cabinet for deck activities, so no need to even go up the stairs!
The deck/yard - located downstairs with direct access from the office and side access from the kitchen on the top floor. Enjoy relaxing on the deck, playing in the yard, or staring at the stars from our full-sized jacuzzi that is always the right temperature. Play some bocce ball on the soft turf (no dirt on feet!) or enjoy the custom-designed play structure with various attachments, including a hammock and circle swing. Al fresco dining options abound, with full-sized teak table and chairs, as well as a classic Kamado Joe charcoal grill/smoker (and industrial snow cone machine). Use of any outdoor amenities (including hot tub, grill, play structure, and snow cone machine) is at your own risk, as fire, water, and air all require responsible users.
