Escape to the serene and peaceful community of Pinecrest Lake Golf & Country Club. Pinecrest Inclusive Amenities (5/6-10/29/23): Private 18 Hole Golf Course (greens fees apply), Proshop, Driving Range, Tennis, Pickleball, Exclusive Clubhouse Restaurant, Private Lakeside Beach, Volleyball, Paddle Boat Slip, Heated Outdoor Pool (6/17-9/4 only). Community Access Form with name and age of all guests must be completed 3 business days prior to checkin.
Welcome to the Overlook Inn, a spacious and comfortable vacation rental that can accommodate up to 10 guests. The Overlook is equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay, including a dual zone central heating and cooling system, a full security system with keyless entry, and 24-hour police/fire monitoring.
The first floor of the Overlook features a fully stocked kitchen with all the essentials for cooking, including a dishwasher, pots, pans, bakeware, toaster, waffle maker, crockpot, pantry, and coffee/tea station (coffee, tea, sugar and creamer provided). The dining area has an extendable dining table with additional seating in the screened-in porch. There is also a portable high chair for your convenience.
The great room boasts comfortable couches, a large screen smart TV, and a propane fireplace. The bright and spacious master bedroom includes a king-size bed, portable crib, smart TV, and master bath with walk-in shower, dual vanity, and jetted jacuzzi tub (toiletries included). The foyer has a keypad that allows for easy access in and out of the home, as well as plenty of hooks for hanging beach towels in the summer and coats in the winter. There is also a powder room that provides an extra space for guests to freshen up and a mud room with full-sized washer and dryer for your convenience.
The second floor of the Overlook features a loft that provides a quiet area where guests can retreat to read a book, play foosball, or plug into the workstation which includes dual monitors, headset, and USB hub. There are two bedrooms that provide queen-sized beds, a smart TV, and nightstand with lamp. The fourth bedroom includes a twin size daybed with twin size trundle, nightstand with lamp, and smart TV. The ceiling slants into this room at an angle, making it well suited for younger and/or shorter guests. The extra-large bunk room accommodates up to four guests, with two twin over twin bunks. Also included are a dresser and smart TV. The upstairs bathroom contains a full linen closet with plenty of towels and a combo shower/tub (toiletries included).
The exterior of the Overlook features a screened-in porch that includes a table for four, a large fire pit with fire bucket, smore sticks and sandwich toasters (wood not provided), and an outdoor grill that makes it easy to prepare a large meal (charcoal not provided).
Please note that the garage is used for storage and will not be available for guests. We will accommodate early check-in/late checkout when possible.
Located in the historic town of Pocono Pines, home of the landmark Jubilee Restaurant and Tutrone's Ice Cream, the Overlook Inn is in the heart of the Pocono Mountains. Visit in the spring, and you may even see a momma bear on a walk with her cubs. Proximity to attractions such as Kalahari Waterpark, Pocono Raceway, Mount Airy Casino, Pocono Crossings Premium Outlets, and Jack Frost, Big Boulder, & Camelback Mountain Ski Resorts make for a true four seasons getaway. No major Poconos attraction is greater than a twenty five minute drive away.
