Once you enter, you’re greeted with an open concept kitchen and living room where you can relax with your friends and family. The home sits towards the end of a street with a cul-de-sac, making this a quiet, relaxing stay, yet just a short drive to all that SD has to offer. It is centrally located and just a 10 min drive to SDSU, and 15-20 min drive to beaches, zoo/balboa park, or downtown.
The space
The Living Room:
When you’ve been traveling or sight-seeing all day, you want to have a comfortable place to relax. The living room is well-equipped for comfort with a large L-shaped sectional couch with 2 ottomans to put your feet up and relax and can comfortably all. The room includes a 52” TV with HD antenna and Chromecast so you can login and enjoy all your favorite streaming services. When it is time to turn the lights out the sectional transforms into a remarkably comfortable pull-out bed.
The Bedrooms:
Comfy mattresses, plush comforters, and high thread count sheets will leave you with a great night’s rest so you’ll have plenty of energy to explore all San Diego has to offer.
The Master Bedroom touts a California King bed so you’ll feel like the king and queen of the house. It has its own private bathroom where you can enjoy a spa-like experience in the shower with the adjustable wall-mounted showerhead and soothing rain-shower head. Soft and Thick towels are also provided for your comfort.
The 2nd bedroom includes a queen bed and is outfitted with a workstation area that includes dual monitors, printer, and a whiteboard.
The 3rd bed is located in the living room, where the sectional turns into a comfortable pull-out bed.
The Kitchen and Dining Room:
Nothing brings people together like food and drinks. The large modern kitchen is fully stocked with everything you’ll need to create the perfect meal. The oversized island provides plenty of countertop space and seating for family and friends to be close to the action of the kitchen. There is also a nice breakfast nook dining table to enjoy your morning coffee or have a nice family dinner. In addition to the essentials (pots & pans, cooking utensils, coffee maker, etc..), the kitchen includes these items that will be hard to find in any other rental:
- Charcuterie Board
- Instapot
- Slow-Cooker
- Fondue Set
- Blender
- Espresso Machine
- Bamboo Dumpling Steamer
The Backyard:
Some of the most beautiful sunsets are seen in Southern California. Wind down outside in a large backyard with beautiful fruit trees (our favorite is the fig tree), while watching the sunset. Once the sun goes down, you’ll be able to see fireworks from Sea World. For the dog lovers, the backyard is very private and fully fenced in, so you can let your fur-babies out with no worries.
A/C & Heat:
San Diego is known for perfect weather so the A/C and Heat is rarely needed. If you happen to be visiting during a heat wave or cold spell, the wall-mounted AC/Heat unit will be sure to keep you comfortable.
Parking:
Does parking stress you out? No need to worry as you’ll have a private driveway to park and street parking if you need it.
Pets:
We welcome responsible dog-owners so you can enjoy your experience with your cuddly companions.
Other:
This property has 2 units. You will have access to the Main home (2 bed/2 bath) with large kitchen and living room. The second unit is a studio apartment that is rented to a tenant that has been there for 3 years and she is very quiet and respectful. The only wall that is shared between the two is the kitchen wall in which the fridge and stove are located. Insulation and double-thick drywall on both sides of the wall make it virtually sound-proof. Your driveway is the driveway on the West side (if looking at house, left side) of the home.
