Guest access
The home is equipped with a keyless entry system—you’ll get a code to access the home shortly before you arrive.
You’ll have access to the entire home, garage, and front and back yard, except the basement and two storage closets upstairs.
You will have access to one space of the two-car garage, as the other is taken by our optional rental car (message us after booking if you’d like to reserve it!).
Other things to note
- You are welcome to reserve our rental car, which is a 2011 Subaru Outback Limited with heated seats and four-wheel drive. If you’re interested, message us after booking. You must reserve the car at least 24 hours before you plan on using it.
- You can help yourself to any of the drinks, food, or supplies in the snack bar, but please pay for anything you take (you will find a link to our online store on and inside the snack bar once you arrive). We keep track of the inventory, and you will be charged for missing items.
- Please respect quiet hours, which are 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. This is not just our rule, but also a city ordinance. As such, no parties or loud events are allowed. This is a family neighborhood. (Small celebrations are fine so long as they aren’t noisy and only include those in the original booking).
- No smoking, vaping, or drug use of any kind—no exceptions (including marijuana). Any violation of this rule will incur an additional fee of $1,500.
- No pets. We take this very seriously as one of the owners and some guests are highly allergic. Any violation of this rule will incur an additional fee of $500.
- We do not currently accept early check-ins or late check-outs.
- No guests other than those included in the original booking.
- You are welcome to use the fireplace and fire pit outside, but you must purchase your own firewood and follow all of the setup and safety guidelines included in the guest book. You can buy firewood and fatwood fire starter sticks from several stores within a few minutes’ drive.
- Please take off your shoes inside.
- You agree to leave the home in the condition you found it, and to let us know if anything is damaged, breaks, or stops working.
- Do not feed or try to pet the wildlife. Enjoy watching the deer, rabbits, and other wild animals from afar, but they are still wild and should be left alone.
- This property has external cameras in two places: A floodlight camera that monitors the front driveway and path to the porch, and a doorbell camera that monitors the front door. The video footage is not shared and only recorded for liability reasons in the case of a break-in or injury and in no way infringes upon the guests’ privacy in these public areas of the property. Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited.
- This property is also equipped with a noise sensor inside which alerts us if the noise level becomes excessive. This does not record anything guests say and only monitors the overall decibel level in the house to ensure that this remains a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the noise sensor is prohibited.
This is an approved short-term rental property with the city of Colorado Springs, permit number A-STRP-22-0029.
