We invite you to work outdoors surrounded by hummingbirds and iguanas! Since 2020, we've been especially welcoming digital nomads, so our rooms are set up for remote work and longer stays. In order to create different workspaces, we install ample tables around the garden. We avoid very short stays, as it's important for us to group guests who share the same interests and have time to share with each other.
The space
LOCATION
It will be easy to create your perfect routine! You can surf every day just across the main street. We are located in the Playa Carmen area, ideal for beginner and intermediate level. If yoga is your thing, there are several places to take classes nearby. The supermarkets are so close that some of our guests go for a drink while they work.
PROPERTY
The property is completely closed, creating the feeling of being in a small private and safe oasis. Inside we have a spacious and quiet garden, which is conditioned for working outdoors at large shared work tables, hammocks and fans. You see a lot of hummingbirds and iguanas!
ROOM
The apartment is a single room that is separated from the kitchen by a glass door, very useful for separating the smells from the kitchen. The bedroom features a comfortable double bed, elegant mirror. The kitchen is equipped and has a table that is used as a second desk. The bathroom is private, has hot water, a lockbox, and a closet.
INTERNET
We currently have 3 fiber optic routers with 100MB each distributed with repeaters all over the property and backed by a battery. So in case of a outage you didn't suddenly miss a meeting.
Guest access
To access the room the process is auto-check in. A few days before your arrival you will receive detailed instructions.
Other things to note
Substance
Help us compost and recycle to remain an Ocean Friendly Business, a local certificate that identifies local businesses that make responsible handling their solid water and waste.
PETS
Only one pet is allowed, but need to be requested in advance. Only small dogs.
FREE LAUNDRY
We have a small commonly used and free washer plus a clothesline you can use.
FREE CLEANING
For weekly stays, cleaning is offered twice a week and change of towels. Sheets are changed once a week. If you need a more frequent change of clothes, just let us know. There is no daily cleaning.
The HOT WATER
of the property is heated only by solar energy. In rainy season when there are several days raining hot water may be weaker than normal.
ONLY ADULTS
We love children but have decided to be an adult-only property to maintain a quieter environment
