A 10 minute walk from the beach in Copacabana, this apartment is great for digital nomads who want to explore Rio de Janeiro while also having a very comfortable setup to work from home.
The apartment is a block away from the Siquiera Campos metro station, so it's really easy to get to wherever you want to go to in the city.
The space
The apartment is a one bedroom apartment, with a large bed, a bathroom and a large living room with a Turkish-style floor sofa, a retractable table, a home office set-up and a comfy hammock. Both the living room and the bedroom are front-facing and they provide a great, open view of a green mountain across the street (see photograph). The bedroom has a strong AC unit that can freshen up both the bedroom and the living room.
The home office set-up includes a desk, an ergonomic seat and a 24" inch curved monitor you can connect your laptop or tablet to using the HDMI cable. The wifi is 500 MB/s and it is very reliable.
The apartment has hot water all the time using a gas heater. You'll also have access to a hairdryer.
The kitchen is small, but practical, and there is an annex with a large fridge and a washing machine and dryer.
Guest access
Full access to the apartment, except a locked closet and a locked cabinet in the desk.
Other things to note
The rent includes all fees, so you don't have to worry about the electricity bill or any other bill.
The hybrid bicycle you see in the picture is not included, but you can rent it for an additional fee. If you're interested in renting the bike, do let me know.
