Welcome to Seattle my friends. We hope you enjoy your stay in our private mother in law one bedroom one bathroom in a very quiet street in Madison Valley, very close to the Central District. You will not find an airbnb in a better spot in Seattle.
The space
We've kept the space uncluttered, nice and tidy, with room to stretch and relax in peace. It is a COMPLETELY SEPARATE unit with its own entrance so you may enjoy your stay without host interaction but we are always happy to chat about Seattle things to do if you would like. We have just upgraded the bedroom to include a stand up adjustable desk with use of 24 inch monitor, headset, mouse, and keyboard for those of you in town for work and/or pleasure. You are welcome to use your own fully stocked kitchen for basic cooking needs and laundry machines 24/7 though we ask to keep the tv/music levels reasonable starting at 10pm. There's a hot water kettle and a keurig as well as complimentary creamer, tea, and coffee pods. The living room sofa has 70 inches of space for extra sleeping space in addition to space for 2 in the queen bed. Or if you prefer we have a queen air mattress. Temperature is controlled upstairs in the main house and will be kept at 68 F. You may request it to be cooler or hotter as you are our guest and we want to accommodate you. Additionally, we have a portable space heater and fan in the closet.

We are centrally located in the heart of Seattle pretty much equally distant to University of Washington, Seattle University, downtown, Swedish and UW Medicine hospital, football/baseball/soccer stadiums. And for all of you foodies out there Communion restaurant was voted top 12 best new restaurants in the world. And it is mere .3 miles away as are Trader Joes, PCC, Safeway, and Grocery Outlet. Looking for more variety? There's Mexican, dessert shops, cafes, vegan, Italian, Spanish, American, Thai, beer halls, a dispensary and spas. If you're looking for a more outdoorsy experience, the Japanese Gardens, Washington Arboretum, and Lake Washington are a straight shot and a nice walk or quick drive from the house.
Other things to note
Plenty of parking on the street right in front of the house. Access to the unit is just 4 steps down. Laundry detergent is included but limited to one load every two days. For any guests with mobility issues, please take note of the couple steps in the bathroom as shown in the pictures.
