About a mile from downtown Tannersville, the townhome is tucked on a quiet country road, situated near Hunter & Windham Mtns. The perfect place to disconnect from city life, slow down, & relax. The massive wraparound deck has unobstructed views of the Catskills & the stars, the cozy fireplace is the perfect backdrop for drinking wine & catching up with friends, & if you need to bring your work with you - no worries, we have 2 full WFH desk setups with docking stations & monitors.
The space
COVID notice: We have recently added to our home multiple Molekule Air Purifiers with PECO (Photoelectrochemical oxidation) Technology, to destroy viruses, bacteria, mold, and pollutants in the air. We have enhanced all cleaning procedures and products to ensure the space is COVID-safe--we stay here occasionally, so you get the same cleaning standard we set for ourselves.
The first floor has a downstairs (covered) deck, front door with keyless entry, and the foyer opens up to the two main bedrooms with exposed wood cabin vibes, and main full bathroom. One bedroom has a large standing desk with a work from home setup: wireless keyboard, mouse, 34” wide (dual screen) UHD monitor, and docking station (just plug you laptop into the lightning cord on the dock and it should work seamlessly). There is a large washer/dryer in the foyer as well.
Up the stairs to the main floor, which has the kitchen, dining area, another full bathroom, and large but cozy living room with large couch, assorted comfy armchairs, fireplace, and cathedral ceilings. The living room has 2 sets of sliding glass doors (one on each side of the room) which exit to a wraparound deck with BBQ, seating/table, and adirondack chairs. Up the stairs to the third floor loft, which boasts a queen size bed, full size bed, pull out couch, and a work from home desk setup with 30” monitor, wireless keyboard & mouse, and docking station (just plug you laptop into the lightning cord on the dock and it should work seamlessly).
We have Google Nest Wifi with multiple access points to ensure fast and consistent wifi in all areas of the home. There is also AT&T and Verizon cell service here.
PLEASE NOTE:
-This is a private, family-friendly community and not suitable for events or parties. Quiet time is enforced from 11 PM to 7 AM.
-There is 1 parking spot available per townhome with additional flex parking that needs to be reserved. Please let us know prior to arriving if your group will be arriving in more than one car.
-Please note that the community does not have garbage removal due to the wildlife in the area. Guests are responsible for disposing of their garbage and/or recycling at the county transfer station 5 min away (1 Hylan Rd, Hunter NY), or take home. Recycling is free, and trash costs $2/bag.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house except for a few locked owner's closets.
