Our "painted lady" is taking 2022 in stride. She's a beautiful, quiet Victorian with 11-foot ceilings, 15 light-filled windows +2 new kitchen skylights , hardwood floors, and as with most 120 year-old beauties, provides more than her fair share of charming nooks to inspire you. And now she has 480 mbps wifi!

The space
Our south-facing, sun-filled front room has loads of comfy seating, a fully equipped desk +HD-monitor to comfortably work from home— and great acoustics! There are lots of interesting 19th century "more than meets the 21st century eye" decorations to enjoy. And, if need extra sleeping, there is a fold-out twin mattress and an air bed that fits very comfortably in the open space.
The bird-themed guest/ child's room has a full-sized bed, dresser and optional Pottery Barn crib and toys for your little one (crib & toys as requested). This room is QUIET and exquisitely cozy.
The TV/ kids play room is the Netflix-and-chill room with plenty of great lounging options including a large Pottery Barn sectional, leather recliner and reading chair. There's a mix of contemporary and classic decor and can be easily equipped for children 0-2 years (baby gates and toys as requested- window protectors are pre-installed).
The large master bedroom includes a queen-sized bed, vanity dresser/mirror and an armoire worthy of an appearance in Beauty and the Beast. This room includes the SECOND fully-equipped WFH desk... a marble-topped CB2 desk with a fully ergonomic steel-case chair + HD monitor.
The large kitchen is typically Victorian in that it is quirky and full of character. There's a full pantry with antique glass panels, a huge Whirlpool fridge, nice stove, Nespresso machine, large kitchen island and dishwasher. The 2 newly installed skylights fill the room with natural light making it a cozy hangout with lovely views of the backyard foliage.
The bathroom has the original claw-foot tub that takes up about 1/3 of the hex-tiled room, snuggly surrounded by all the things you'd expect a bathroom to include (sink, toilet, window, medicine cabinet, towel shelf and racks, etc). It's a sweet little space with a lovely window that opens to a canopy of palm, avocado and yucca trees.
The back patio includes a full washer (2019 LG high efficiency top-loader) and dryer (2015 Samsung front-loader) which beyond one more door opens to a quaint seating nook overlooking the back yard-- a fabulous area to enjoy morning coffee or take a fresh-air call or 3 during the work day.
Off-street parking is available in our driveway. It will be completely and exclusively available to you during your stay, avoiding the 2-hour parking limits for non-resident vehicles and the weekly street cleaning! Please indicate if you will be using the spot so we can inform our downstairs neighbors.

Everything in the unit with the exception of 2 small closets and one small storage area will be yours for the stay!
