Idilic retreat on typical Canarian house surrounded by large mango trees, located within the Rural Park of Anaga.
From the sunny terrace, 5 min. walk away from a quiet beach, you can enjoy birds singing and still hear the ocean.
The village of Igueste de San Andrés is the starting point of many hiking routes over the mountains for all levels.
The space
Casa Papá Cacho is a typical historical canarian house located in the rural environment of Anaga.
Suitable for hikers and reading lovers both. It's a place to enjoy siestas and live with open doors and windows. It's fully renovated and equipped for remote workers, with monitor, keyboard and mouse, plus high speed internet (Fiber-Optic).
Ancient mango and mamei trees surrounding the house were brought from Cuba by our ancestor Papá Cacho, who built the house two centuries ago.
There is a small calm beach just 5 min. walk from the house and you can get to playa de Las Teresitas in San Andres, 6 km away on foot and by bus/car, where you can enjoy some fresh seafood.
The three most famoues hikes from here are "El Semáforo de Igueste de San Andrés", "Playa de Antequera" and "Chamorga".

You can enjoy a picnic in any area of the land, BBQ there asked in advance, please mind the risk of fire.
Activities:
-You can walk (5 min) to the beach (surf, swim, sunbath...) or go on excursion to any of the wandering tours (Parque Natural de Anaga).
The neighbours community organize some meetings and trips around the area.
