Welcome to Tico Tiki, our charming guest house in a vintage Italian villa!
Ideally situated just on the edge of town, The Tortuga Room is equipped with a workstation and strong WiFi - perfect for blending business with pleasure!
Follow the stairs down the hill and have your toes in the sand in just 5 minutes. From there, it is an easy 10-minute stroll to the main street of Sámara and all that our charming seaside pueblo has to offer.
The space
The Tortuga Room is a little hotel room with a private entrance, en-suite bath, and mini fridge with microwave and coffee service.
Optimized for remote workers, your desk enjoys a peek-a-boo view out over the water and is equipped with a monitor and Uninteruptable Power Supply.
There is no hot water or AC, but other amenities have been provided for your comfort:
• Strong water pressure makes for great (cold) showers on hot days
• A powerful ceiling fan really moves the air
• Hillside location captures the ocean breezes!

The Tortuga Room does not have access to the pool terrace pictured in some of our other listings.

Costa Rica is one of the most bio-diverse places in the world...
Wildlife abounds!
As we are in the jungle, there *will* be critters:
• Howler monkeys
• Iguanas
• Pizote
• Birds
• Butterflies
...and BUGS. Lots of them.
We are in their home. Mentally prepare. :)
Also, the delicate Costa Rican septic systems can't handle toilet paper - please use the trash receptacle provided in the baño.
