2. Surrounding environment: property backs up to a seasonal creek area, which has a flagstone patio that guests can utilize. Adjacent to the house is an extensive open space that includes walking trails and an abundance of trees, creating a nice natural feel.
3. Remote work office: dedicated separate office w/ desk, Steelcase chair, monitor and keyboard / mouse to plug in laptop, and high speed internet.
4. Comfortable space w/ amenities: good natural lighting, plenty of space for gathering for meals or socializing, good guest feedback on comfort level of beds, modern rustic cabin aesthetic to fit your mountain adventure (see pictures). Amenities include cooking items, washer/dryer, cabinet full of board games, and TV with several streaming options (Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Disney+, ESPN+, Amazon Prime, Peacock). There is also keyless door access and guests have use of the garage - so no need to park outside in the snow or deal with cold gear in the morning.

Helpful host - this is a personal business for the host and I take significant pride and am emotionally invested in seeing guests enjoy their experience - not only the house but any information that makes for a better overall trip. I look to communicate as much or as hands off as you prefer, but in general am accessible and available to help.
A couple considerations to note:
1. Host lives in separate lower apartment: No shared indoor spaces. Host enters through side gate and has own entrance to unit. There is a door at the bottom of stairs by the kitchen, which remains locked at all times. You may see host at times entering / leaving the property, but general feedback is guests barely notice any presence unless maintenance items need to be addressed. Many listings in the area have guests staying in the mother-in-law unit, but it is reversed in this case. The benefits are a better space w/ more natural lighting, full control of the thermostat and greater ease of entry.
2. House is not brand new. Every effort is made to ensure the space is clean and comfortable, and there are reasonable updates throughout. However, not everything is newly renovated. The pictures and video walkthrough are intended to give a very accurate idea of the space, and if you have any questions the host is happy to discuss.
Detailed description of the space:
4 BD, 2 BA, up to 8 guests. Large living room, kitchen, dining area. Separate office for remote work incl. desk, monitor, keyboard, mouse and Steelcase Leap chair. Loft provides additional space for activities, exercise, etc.
Owner in separate downstairs apartment. No indoor shared spaces - only the backyard and creek area. Inside staircase to downstairs unit has door that remains locked from both sides at all times for privacy.
Each space:
Living room: vaulted ceilings with natural light, large sectional couch and additional lounge chair for comfortable large group seating. Remote-controlled gas fireplace, TV, cabinet with blankets and board games.
Dining room: adjacent to living room and kitchen as part of larger open space. Table comfortably seats 6 but can accommodate up to 8. Large window with mountain view next to table.
Kitchen: full kitchen with refrigerator, oven, gas range and microwave. Coffee maker and Keurig w/ plenty of pods provided during your stay. Two high chairs at countertop. Pots, pans and cooking utensils provided.
Patio / balcony: sliding door access near kitchen. Propane grill available. Chairs and outdoor couch. Stairs from deck provide access to backyard and seasonal creek / lower flagstone patio area.
Bedroom 1: primary bedroom w/ queen bed, two nightstands, standard closet, walk-in closet and bathroom w/ slate stone shower.
Bedroom 2: located on main level w/ queen bed, two nightstands and standard closet.
Bedroom 3: located in upper loft area w/ queen bed, two nightstands, and a rolling closet.
Loft: provides open space with seating area next to scenic mountain view window, and general space for yoga, stretching, fitness or other activities. Yoga mat, exercise ball and roller pad available.
