New! Chalet with WFH spaces, hot tub & EV charger

Nomad Validated
This three-bedroom chalet nestled in an upscale neighborhood in Tahoe Vista provides easy access to all that Tahoe has to offer. Backing up to a forest with only a neighbor to one side, the home provides a relaxing, remote atmosphere while affording guests the convenience of being just minutes from the restaurants and other amenities in Kings Beach, Incline Village and Northstar.

With a hot tub, two dedicated workspaces, and electric vehicle charging, this is the perfect Bay Area getaway.

The space
The chalet has three bedrooms, a loft area with a full-sized futon, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, and an open living space, equipped with a sectional couch and 60-inch smart TV.

Two of the bedrooms are on the first floor. One has a queen-sized bed; the other a bunk bed with a full over a queen. Both have views and access to the back deck.

The sizable third bedroom is upstairs and includes a queen-sized bed, a private deck, a desk (with an extra monitor), a smart TV preloaded with the most popular streaming apps, and a gorgeous view into the trees.

Enjoy the hot tub, which is serviced after each guest's stay, on the back deck, where it is accompanied by a sitting area.

A BBQ and outdoor dining area sit just off the kitchen in the front of the house. It's a relaxing place to enjoy a meal -- just be sure not to leave any food out. Anything left out could serve as an invitation for a bear.

The kitchen is stocked with essential cookware and spices to make guests feel at home and features a coffee area with traditional coffee pot and an easy-to-use Nespresso machine.

Let’s not forget the little ones! The loft is stocked with family friendly games. No need to lug extra accessories, there is a high chair and pack and play available for use.

The property also provides a NEMA 14-50 outlet right on the car port. Super convenient to have the ability to charge your eV car at anytime during your stay!

Guest access
Each guest is provided with a unique entry code to the front door, which is activated automatically prior to arrival. There are two dedicated parking spots and lots of street parking (available May through October).

Other things to note
Cell service is poor in the area, however, most cell phones have WiFi-calling capability that can be turned on upon arrival (the host can help with those unfamiliar with how this works) and a landline is available for domestic use (incoming and outgoing, if necessary).

Tahoe Vista is bear territory. Information about how to safely share the neighborhood with our furry friends will be provided upon booking.
