Fast access from/to front door (front door has keypad for easy entry). Cont'l breakfast provided each morning. Host (an RN) and her husband have had both doses of covid vaccine. Easy access (3 stop signs and 1 light, only 10 minute drive) to Grand Park!
The space
The Grand Mountain listing includes:
-Main floor bedroom beautifully decorated and close to front entry door
-Queen bed and 32" Smart TV in bedroom
-The bathroom with the step-in shower is private for your use only during your stay.
-Coffeemaker, coffee, hot pot, teas, and mugs and cups available in bathroom.
-There is a new 40,000 grain water softener and a whole-house water filter that ensures you have high quality water during your stay.
-Fullsize refrigerator/freezer available in garage for storing additional refrigerated/frozen items
-Wifi available
-Washer and dryer use is available upon request
Also be aware that:
-Wolfies restaurant, a local favorite, is only four minutes away at Morse Marina on Morse Reservoir
-Multiple pizza places deliver, and less than a mile away are a Subway, a Chinese take-out place, a Pizza King restaurant, and a Mexican food restaurant
-The Grand Park sports complex is only six miles
-Ruoff Music Center in same town
Finally, a word about our cleaning process that we follow after each guest visit is completed:
-All beds are stripped completely down to the mattress protectors. All bedding (fitted sheet, flat sheet, blanket, and coverlet) are washed in the washer and dryer. We maintain double sets of bedding for each bed so that we can do a fast turnover of each room the same day if necessary. Pillow cases and pillow covers are both removed from pillows used by guests and washed. Covers are then placed on pillows and pillows are placed on our "pick-a-pillow" rack (see picture) for selection and use by incoming guests.
-Bathroom is thoroughly cleaned. Shower, toilet surfaces, and vanities are all sprayed with scubbing bubbles and then every inch is wiped down using sponge. Toilet bowl is cleaned and scrubbed with toilet bowl cleaner. Mirrors are cleaned with glass/window cleaner. All bottles of toiletries, including those in the shower, are completely wiped down with disinfecting wipes. All surfaces that are routinely touched, including door handles, light switches and switchplates, tv remote controls, etc. are wiped down with disinfecting wipes. Bathroom floor mat is removed and washed. All towels and washcloths used by previous guests are removed and washed. Note that as with bedding, we have extra floor mats, towels, and washcloths so that bathroom can be quickly turned around if necessary. All trash in trash cans is removed and new plastic trash bags placed in the cans. The robotic vacuum cleaner is run for at least one full charge (about 2 hours) in each room while the other cleaning and washing is taking place. The bathroom floor is scrubbed by hand with a pinesol and water solution. Any cups and glasses used by guests are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned. Coffeemakers and hot pots are checked for use and cleaned as needed.
Guest access
Guests can access the front entrance (there is a keypad deadbolt lock so that guests can enter as needed), the main hallway, bedroom, and bathroom. The continental breakfast is provided on a sideboard in main hallway each morning. With permission they can use the clothes washer and dryer in laundry room, and the fullsize refrigerator in garage (attached garage is accessible through door located in kitchen).
Other things to note
There is a 15-year-old people loving Australian Shepherd (dog) that is resident on the main floor. We don't allow guests to bring pets. Please make us aware if you have a service animal so that we can discuss whether our venue might be appropriate for you and your service animal or not.
